03.03.05 -- itchy necks and potential car wrecks --

I'm a little bit scared of driving since the car accident in August. However I think I am more afraid as a pedestrian of being run over by a car, or as a driver of crashing into someone or something, than being crashed into again.

Strangely, I cannot seem to make myself more aware of my surroundings. Because here in KA the pedestrian zones become car zones seemingly without warning (like, there are pedestrians-only signs but no hey-cars-can-drive-here-again signs), I walk around blithely assuming that I can go anywhere and the cars cannot.

Now what does this say about me, exactly? I think it says, Grow up and start paying attention to where you are walking, dumbass, or you're going to be part of and/or cause some kind of accident.

All my scarves itch my neck skin, though, and so I don't like to move my head so much when wearing a scarf, the better to keep from irritating my poor throat.

Stupid winter go away.
